Is very underrated how this things corner until i understood why it literally weight 500 pounds shy of a lotus elise. My 1.6 manual is 2400 pounds. I bought it from a lady on the border of usa and canada nothing! No ac no nothing is stripped out from the factory it should be called nissan versa superllagera sv it moves if you really give it all. I always tell my brother that has a focus st how well this thing corners. He wants to put summer tires and try it iut like that.

Highly underrated car. Nissan engineers gimped the fuck out of it in production but with some basic exhaust and air intake mods and a decent suspension kit it very easily changes from a shopping cart to a go-cart. A great car for anyone wanting to dip their toes into modding.

Do they all do that little lug going down the highway or road ? Runs fine tho gets 25+to the gallon at 180 thousand. I just drove this 01 rolla from Ohio to Louisiana runs fine tho. Mine even caught on fire at 120k due to ole lady hooked battery back up backwards lost half a seat and door panel on driver side but I drove it 15 hours runs good goes good on highways they pull good to.

He can't pronounce it but he loves his "McClarion".

waste of time and money... just go buy yourself a used cayman. better car less than half the money spent, and it won't try to kill you in a wreck, having been manufactured with federally required highway safety like crumple zones and airbags. 818's look kinda cool. that's it. the fiberglass will disintegrate on impact and the frame will contort itself into whatever is the least resistant in a collision, which may or may not be through your body... plus aftermarket support like wide body kits and ground effects not available to kit cars. why would anyone waste time, money and a lot of effort building one of these pieces of shit?

I love the two tone action going on there...out standing compare to other interior i have seen...take your time do it at your speed good work man !!!

I have a versa now and its the rear suspension for me that ruins the car. When you hit 75 mph, it starts jumping around over road bumps because of the rear bar suspension.

Plz tell me what you got in that car i need stuff like eurethane bushing ect for mine where do i get everything i need to make it the fastest delivery versa ever 😂

My friend had one in hs. His dad bought it new in 83...longbed will a camper. Gave it to him his Sr year in 87. Amazing how much of difference just removing the shell and tinting the windows did. I always told him to let me buy it if he ever decided trade in or sell but we lost touch after hs

I also own a 68..spent some time making it my own by lowering it..disc brakes and i went with the older style blade bumpers which i liked the look of..lots of fun to drive..i don't do any shows though..the shows i have been to i do see that judges over-look the Beetles for some reason..i have never entered mine in a show but i do see when a Beetle is in a show they never get their fair shake no matter how nice they are..The Beetle is a blast to drive though...wouldn't trade mine for anything...They are honest classics now and back when i was a kid every other car was a Beetle but you just don't see them very often these days

I grew up in Canada and learned to drive in a C10. My dad had an 86 Custom Deluxe long bed, straight 6, 3 on the tree tranny. No power steering. Just a plain jane truck that did everything. Hauled fire wood in the winter, hauled fruit in the summer, hauled rocks and bikes and everything else. My pops sold it for a Toyota Tundra in 2004 or so. I know I'll get a c10 when I retire just to bring back the memories of my childhood, driving around with my pops. Yeah, I miss the old truck.
